If your looking for an inexpensive parrot that talks try a Quaker They usually start at 150.00 for the normal greens more for other colors they are sweet playful loving little birds buy only hand fed babies and give lots of attention.They can talk a blue streak. please research on line so you and your bird will be happy. I have owned many different kinds of birds and have 6 different breeds now and by far I recommend Quakers as the best bird I have ever had. Good Luck
