How much do teachers assistant level one get paid?

Been thinking of becoming a teachers assistant. have a school willing to take me on and train me on the job so will start at level 1. does anyone know what the rate of pay is when you start at the bottom of the ladder

Most teacher assistants get paid between £12,500-£15,000.

So I highly doubt you will get anymore than £12,000 per year. However, as you gather more experience, your pay will rise.

Also, you may have difficulty finding a school that is willing to train you on the job since many now want teaching assistants with intense experience.
