  1. 2000 calories/day

  2. 2000-2500 calories a day. it drops to 2000(ish) when he stops growing. which could be anywhere from 17-25. as long as he excercises, doesn't go hungry, and eats healthily he's fine.

  3. They can eat a whole pizza.

  4. Well being that they are still growing boys, their appetites are going to increase more and more.

So do yourself and your kids a favor...STACK UP!! ;)

    God Bless

  5. Eat until your body tells you to stop. Each person needs a differnt amount of food to live. Some need very little, some need lots.

  6. The question is incomplete.  An appropriate answer would require more information, such as body type and level of aerobic activity.  Not everyone (in any one age/gender group) requires the same amount.

The average man requires between 2000 and 2500 calories.  Since men usually continue growing until they are in their early twenties, the requirement may be slightly higher during teen years.  Again, it depends on the individual.

Find a way of measuring your Body Mass Index (percentage of body fat).  Some models of home bath scales will measure this, and their instruction manuals should provide some very basic guidelines about what is normal.

If your reading comes out above or below normal, then seek a professional opinion from a doctor.

  7. the first guy to answer is totally right i mean just eat till u not hungry and yah lol just dont eat between supper and diner and that kinda stuff lol

  8. a lot

  9. As much as they want! And the age... well, you said "TEEN," so... assume the age it ends is once they hit 20. Makes sense, right?

    :)

  10. it depends how active they are...

at any age, the more calories you burn the more you need to consume.

I'd just dole out large portions for starters, and then cut it in half if theyre still hungry. (wait a few minutes between servings, to make sure the brain can sense hunger levels)

  11. I think they eat just like normal. Teens like ages 13-15 eat a lot because they are growing. But normally by that time they have stopped growing and eat just like every other guy.

  12. Everyone is different...they eat until they are full...

  13. enough to make you not hungry anymore.

  14. They eat a lot because their bodies are rapidly changing.  It varies from kid to kid, but it usually continues until the early 20s, or when they stop growing.  My doc told me that guys can continue growing until like 22 or 23.

  15. Well, abut 18 or 20 is when they stop growing and don't need as much food. But it really depends on how active they are. My brother is 18, and he works out intensely everyday - plus he has a high metabolism to begin with, so he eats nearly 5000 calories. But a boy with a high metabolism that doesn't work out might only eat 3000-3500. A boy with a low metabolism that works out is about the same a boy with a high metabolism that doesn't work out, so 3000 calories. A boy with a low metabolism that doesn't work out should eat cautiously, only like 2000-2500.

  16. enough to make them stop being hungry

  17. 2000 calories.

Edit: To loose weight, times your bodu weight in pounds by 10, that how musch calories you need to consume in 5-6 small meals a day.

  18. As much as he needs to take away his hunger
