depending where u live and the min. wage.....they wont pay u below  min. wage......If it's a big city u have a better chance at making a little more than min wage....

Why don't you ask them what they start people out at? Are you thinking of applying? I think that any work is decent work... So many people look down on fast food, restaurants, etc... But hey, if you're working then that's WONDERFUL! Don't let anyone talk you out of getting a job if they ARE hiring and you don't mind working there... Any job that is legal is decent hard work...

depends where you live...the one I work at, starting part-time wage is $9...the one I used to work at, starting part-time is $8.50...McDonalds in cities a couple hundred kilos from where I live are live $15 for part-time (no joke!!!!)

so it depends where, but I'd say in most places in Canada, it's about $8

Minimum wage, maybe 5-10 cents more for a starting position. I hear they are up benefits so ppl don't end up in a dead end career. Heard that often on the news last year.
