How much do u get paid a year for being air host on QANTAS or VIRGIN BLUE??

When my friend started at QANTAS a few years ago, her starting wage was $50,000 PLUS allowances e.g. overnight, etc.  This brought her wage up to about $80,000. Amazing huh?

I'm not sure about Virgin Blue but I'd imagine it to be a lot less than this.
