Many people love to eat at KFC. but did you know they kill chickens inhumanely? it really is a sickening process for the chickens to go through. first, chickens are stuffed in tiny cages, where they are tossed around, their bones being crushed because they cannot move. next, the chickens are cut by the throat, with no pain killers or anesthetics to lessen the pain. they are then put in a scalding chemical bath, where some that survive getting chopped at the throat die a painful death of burning. please, before you take that first bite, consider what your meat ent through to get on your plate. If you agree with this, or want more information, go to kentuckyfriedcruelty.com. Also, if you agree, answer saying that you vow to not eat at KFC again. Do it for the defenseless chickens. they need your help.

  1. Thanks for the info.  Actually I've learnt quite a bit about animal cruelty.  Peter Singer's 'Animal Liberation', is really good for learning about factory farms.

Feeling compassionate and wanting to learn more about ethical treatment of animals I picked up this book and many others that described all the current and historical treatment of animals.  Apparently a dairy cow needs to give birth before producing milk,( here I thought they magically produce it so that I can have a white tea or coffee).  The calf is then separated from it's mother(which doesn't impress either one of them)  Some calves are then confined to a box to keep them from moving thus producing a quality veal, but not before they're deprived off their mothers milk which is taken for someone else to enjoy.  I try not to have dairy products.

The book also analyses human attitudes towards animals over the years.  Singer examines where this comes from and argues why it should change, i.e, why animals deserve respect.  Probably the most life changing book I've read. (in my life that is).

  2. PETA have some really good information on these subjects, check their website

  3. If you're going to try to turn people against KFC, go ahead and do it for all fast food places.  If you knew how animals were slaughtered for fast food places, grocery stores, etc. you wouldn't just be focusing on KFC.

  4. I do not eat chicken or just about any other meat for many reasons but one of the big ones is that reason right there.it is inhumane but humans are hungry and don't care.

  5. KFC only buys dead chickens no way to be cruel to a dead chicken.

  6. be careful of what you are writing, you are ruining the reputation of k.f.c. and it is not a question but a request

  7. You must be a vegitarian. Or you have an infactuation with chickens. I do agree that the way things are done my be cruel but thats the way it is. They slaughter cattle by slitting their throats... like that don't hurt.

  8. ther chikens they dont have feeling they cant  talk they cant reason....as soon as ther killed its over and they dont remember what happened to them .....i dont see how you could know if k.f.c even does that ...if they did im sure they would have the animal rights ppl on ther case about it and they would change it sooo get over it ..its not like you have some personal relationship with the chicken its not like it was ur dog or something
