  1. 25$ for a trim

  2. for my one, 25 bucks, she was just a trim no shoes.

for my other horse, about 140-160, he had corrective shoeing and pads on his front feet on due to his front legs were nerved b/c the bone in his hoof had something wrong and they couldnt get to it, so instead they went and cut the nerves so he couldnt feel it, but with that came the corrective shoeing and in 3 years the nerves they did cut grow back(they told us that would happen)....among other problems he ended up having. there wasnt a choice if we wanted to have special shoes on him or not.

  3. nothing

  4. Luckily my horse was at most shod up front for 65.00, my farrier was always impressed with his feet and after always telling me he could probably pull shoes without horse being affected, initially I was worried about traction around our jumper courses, but everything's gone great and he trims for 40 dollars every 5 weeks.

Plain shoes are usually around 120 to get shod all around, with special shoes going 200-400 depending on what kind and the labor involved(I'm glad I'm not those people!)

  5. I wouldn't know on shoeing a horse but to get my horss hoofs trimmed its about 40-60 dollars

  6. I pay 40 for a trim every six weeks.  The same farrier charges 80 to 100 for two front shoes on the other horses.

  7. nothing i do it myself =]

  8. I pay £70 for wedge shoes on his front hooves and titanium tipped hind shoes... but my farrier does have the hots for me!!! oh and it's every 4-5 weeks at the moment cos my horse is so heavy on his shoes...

  9. i pay like 280 for all 4 hoofs but my horse has like soft hoofs so they do stuff to make them harder and stronger. and i no thats alot but he does a great job

  10. I pay 65 pounds for a new set of shoes every 6 weeks

  11. 25$-35$

For a barefoot trim. The farrier trims like 12 horses when he come so that is peobably why it is so low.

  12. 100 dollars per horse

  13. we pay £55 for a full set, £27 for a half set, £15 for a trim, £7.50 for a half trim (i.e. back feet if front feet have had a half set put on)

we have been warned though that the prices will increase next time

  14. i pay £55 for 4 new shoes every 6 weeks, and £12 for trimming and £43 for reshoeing with the old shoes if there not worn! and yes that it hot shoeing so i think i get mine done quite cheap, and they last 6-7 weeks hunting on Exmoor with lots of road work!

  15. i pay 60 for all around trim and shoes in the front. 120 for trim all around and shoeing all around

  16. I have this awesome guy who gives me a great deal, $15 for all 4 hooves trimmed. :)

  17. Just forked out £143.00 for two full sets plus the VAT. as my farrier now makes over £54,000. a year he is VAT registered!!!

He is 23 years old....no such thing as a poor farrier!

  18. $90 includes a trim, aluminum shoes on front, steel on back for barrel racing and i get them done every 6 weeks

  19. It is generally slightly cheaper for cold shoeing, but the general price is between £55.00-£70.00.

  20. I pay 160 for 4 shoes (new) and stud holes and 35 for a barefoot trim.

  21. £35 front shoes but trim all round. Every 7 weeks.

  22. i pay 30 dollars every three weeks for hoofs

  23. I pay £55.00 for refits and £60.00 for 4 new shoes.

  24. I pay 45 dollars for a barefoot mustang trim. I would highly recommend barefooting your horse most natural thing you will ever do! best thing for your horse too! But, showing could interfere with that so shoes might be necessary.I've never shoed a horse tho.

I just got a thouroghbred with navicular and he had eggbar shoes. I transitioned him to barefoot it took about 5 months and now he is sound as he has ever been. Just something to think about.
