What make, model and year helicopter? Makes a big difference. Just a "ball park" price would be high 300k. Just like with anything else in life, it depends on what you are wanting to get.

Many years ago, a Westland engineer told me that in general, a helicopter costs twice as much to buy and three times as much to operate as a fixed wing plane.  Its probably a case of - if you have to ask the price, you cannot afford it.
