  7. I'll divide it into two categories beach and indoor.

In the USA beach has become the most lucrative Logan Tom  left indoor to play beach (Holly McPeak) AVP tour. The more you win the more prize money and endorsements. Consider Holy McPeak $1,466,960 in earnings overall. Misty May-Trainer $1,259,157 and her partner Kerri Walsh $1,170,250 not to mention endorsement both are great on TV. Earnings both domestic/international.

Men John Hyden was on the 1996-2000 Mens team he know plays beach is totall earnings so far $116,885. Keep in mind he only started in 2002 just joined the tour 2005. His partner Jeff Nygard earned $315,502.

FIVB (Swatch World Tour) also hosts the World Beach Volleyball Championship other tournaments. Men top earners $355,000 and women top earners $367,200. Prize money for Men and Women World Champions $500,000.

Indoor nothing if you stay in the USA , but you can play proffesionally overseas Brazil, Japan, Italy and Russia just to name a few. It all depends on how good you are, for example Logan Tom played overseas. How good is your team and what level.  Where you play for both men and women Italy and Turkey are good in Europe.

You may make as little as a couple $100's a month to as much as $10,000. Plus a possibility of bonus money and signing bonuses. Upside the money you earn in Europe is tax free and no rent. For Example a $1000 a month is just that. Read below 3.5-3.6 will awnser your question.

People may not be aware their is TV rights and endorsement deals just probally not as lucrative as beach. In Europe both men and women play for the European Champions League and CUP for domestic league teams.

FIVB has what is called a World League and World Championships pay out money.
