Wedding Bands Are Pretty Cheap... But Depending On What You Want.

You Can Pick Up A Nice Plain One For A Couple Hundred.

My 1st Engagement Ring Was Actually A Wedding Band, It Had 10 Small 0.25ct Diamonds & It Was $300.

But Depending On What Kind On Engagement Ring You Have, Some Wedding Bands Look Better.

Whether You Want It To Have Diamonds All The Way Around The Band Or Half Way Around, A Couple Diamonds Here & There Or A Totally Plain One, You Should Always See How It Matches The Engagement Ring First.

Don't Settle For One Jeweler But. Shop Around Before You Buy It.

My ring is the one below (follow the link) and it is from Kay Jewelers and with the protection policy and everything it was roughly 1300.00 (that is the expensive side)...it is total weight of 1 caret.

My husbands below was about 600.00 with a proctection plan as well.

They can be cheap and they can be expensive.  My hubby bought mine (6 yrs ago) from wedding day jewelers for $900.  Then the price starts going up significantly.  How many karats are you talking about?  Cause mine is like 1/4 karat.  Just tell the sales people your price range and they can help you pick out something that is nice.

Engagement or wedding?

My engagement ring was somewhere between 8 and 9 k. My wedding ring was $1600.

Engagement rings are expensive, upwards of $1000.00 usually. But if you are talking just a wedding band, you can get them anywhere from $200 and up depending on how thick you want them, if you want and gems in it. The band for my set was $350ish if I remember right and it is shaped to fit my engagemnt ring and has 2 small diamonds.

There really isn't an average to spend on rings.  It just all depends on how much you can afford.  My favorite places to look at jewelry are

We bought my engagement ring from Macys on sale for a little over $1300, originally priced for over $2000.  Then at Zales we bought the wedding band on sale for $200.  I gotta say, I love love love that both were on sale.

Mine was about $125, my husband's was about $150 (lovely plain gold bands).

yellow gold 400 and up

red gold 300 and up

wedding rings look better in gold with diamond so lets say you want a 14k and more just be prepared to spend from $500 to $10000 if you want a good wedding ring
