How much do you bribe a satellite guy to get him to drill a small hole into your apartment for hd satellite?

i wanna know, cause the apartment people didn't want us to do it and directv didn't either but their coming on monday night and i am just gonna slip him a few buck to put a freaking hole in my apartment.

  1. if he is like the cable guy, forget it!  They will tell you that they

    need landlord written permission first

    All of those Digital boxes talk back to the offices these days and so they will know if you are using stolen signals.

    this will fire the techs who enjoy their jobs and such...

  3. anything that attaches to real property, such as the satellite dish is the responibility of the property owner. since they are liable for the damages caused by it falling for example, it can ONLY be installed with their permission.  Permission means they can decide how it is done. Any permanent damage you cause to the building during your stay, such as holes in the walls, can be charged against your deposit. Drilling holes in the wall is not "ordinary wear and tear" in any jurisdiction.

    i doubt that the installer will be willing to have his insurance cancelled due to his accepting bribes for illegal installation. just accept the window route and just be glad you can get an installation at all.
