i live in a fairly wealthy neighboorhood and i have been babysitting for two years now and i am now 14

  1. $5 an hour for 1

    and $2 extra for each additional child


  2. this is what i think a good rate is...

    one child: $7/8

    two children: $8/9

    three children: $9/10

    then, add a dollar for each child extra

  3. I used to charge by the hour.  I charged $3/hour for 5 and up, and $5/ hour for 5 and under per child.  I thought it was pretty reasonable, no one every complained to me before.

  5. Well when I was your age I did babysitting, which really wasnt all that long ago... lol, I would charge somewhere between 5-7 dollars a child an hour? depends, sometimes people just pay you for the day some times people pay by the hour =)

  6. $6-8 an hour is very fair for your age... Ask them what they are willing to pay
