that question is very hard to answer because it depends on the contract and where you live what job you are going to do etc. most Norcal stores Checkers Grocery Dairy and Produce range from $8-$19 Deli Bakery Floral  Starbucks and customer service booth cleark tend to range $8-$13.75 The department mangers make 30 cents more than the cap.  in the department. And courtesy Clearks range $7.50-$8.39 however most norcal contracts are up early december so its a bit hard to be sure for what things will be especially because minimum wage in california will be $8 in january. but for now you start at the bottom of the range and get a 20-40 cent raise every few hundred hours worked
