I would suggest you go to college but if you can't afford it just work hard and ask to move up, ask your manager how you can do this and sit down w/ someone to review your thoughts of how to move forward in your career and what steps you need to take

Another thing is to take those test which help you figure out your interest and personality so that you sort of have an idea of what will make you happy in the long run

I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer but it turns out I would have been a better chef or interior designer or counselor (this one I may still do) which is something that truly interest me way more then fashion ever did

Since moving to Spain I only get about 10 euros .

The only way to get a really good wage is to work for yourself, I have had a few successful businesses in the UK and will be opening  a dog grooming shop here in October .

Look for a niche in the market and go for it , you can start a business at any age you just have to have the courage and the right product or idea good luck.
