How much do you give your stylist as a tip when you get your hair done?

I give mine 5 dollars.. Is that enough? I never know how much they deserve and how important tips are to them..

well alldepend on what kind of style if its a trim than they didnt truly work hARD...BUT IFS SOMETHING THAT TOOK A GOOD HR OR 2 GIVE THEM A 10 15

i think 5 is enough. that`s how much i do too. but if it`s so perfect, the stylist is great and you feel really happy about it, like really happy, lol .. i would give like $8-$10 bucks. but that`s only if that happens, and when you have extra cash lol.

So, I will start here. I personally think it depends on several things, the service, the results, the feel, the initial cost, what I had done and much more even the chattiness of the stylist. But, usually it ends up between 10-20%. Out of curiosity I called my hairstylist and she said that it usually ends up being around that at the end of the day.

When I go to the hair salon to get my hair colored and cut, the total bill amounts to $60; so I give the stylist $10.00.  If you are just getting a haircut $5.00 should be enough.

i also gave mine 5 bucks.. well my mom gave them 6 because she felt bad because i have very thick hair. But we usually give 5 also

They practically live for their tips...I give my nail guys 5 dollars...I tip between 10-20 dollars...But I guess it's your preference...But remember their hourly pay isn't a lot and they need to make a living too!!!

5-10$ But i get mine done for free. Try a gift card or take them to dinner, a little variation is always good and they appreciate the thought!

It depends on how much you like their work. Last time I went to the hair dresser she did an awesome job in cutting my hair so I gave her $15 extra. Another time, she didn't cut my bangs like how I like asked her to so I only gave her $5
