How much do you have to pay for getting into a swimming program?

i want to get in a swimming program...but i wanna know how much u have to pay... and do they Train you to be better? Because I go to the community pool but i just dont wanna go in and swim.. I wanna be train to be better... What do you think is the best place and thing to do?... im 15... and I live in Canada

They train you to become better but it costs around 2000 dollars

to learn swimming u can go to a community center and learn for around 50 $

for a lesson

there only 6 lessons so 300$

well in the US a competitive fee is about 80-150 dollars a month for just pool time which is about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. Then you would need all the equipment (suit, cap, goggles, fins, kickbaord) and then your coach might require you to do dryland training (cardio and such) which could cost extra so it can get pretty expensive after a while.
