  1. In my state it often times go by income. The maximum they can take out is 30%, unless you have been majorly delinquent. My Mom's dead beat boyfriend dodged child support for 16 years. They finally caught up with him and he owes more than 100,000 in back child support, late fees, court fees, and penalties. He now works a full time job for the school and takes home $5o every two weeks. He got what he deserves. Anyways yes there are special circumstances, but it usually is 25-30% of your income.

I live in Minnesota too, my child support comes from ND

  2. My ex pays me 60 a week for 1 child and pays his first ex wife 115 a week for 2 kids.  He also has to pay 1/2 of medical on all 3 kids.

  3. depends on how much you make and the childs needs they might take a lot but they won't take everything

  4. It depends on the state that you live in the number of children you have and how much you and your ex make. You could end up paying as much as 50% of your income. You may want to try and work out an amount with your ex. Try and avoid going through the court system.

  5. i know my dad only had to pay 25 a week... it depends on how much money you make and how many kids. i know ppl who pay 40 a week, 50 and 75

  6. my ex pays me £13 per week for our son. Not a lot but he also pays for martial art lesons, swimming and trampolining.. If i do need to ask him to put towards shoes or school clothes if he has the money he will.Although it's rare i do ask him.

Him paying so little does not bother me at all he spends time with his son which is IMO better than giving money.. plus as i say he pays for other thing for our child

  7. It depends on alot of factors and differs in each state. They take into consideration each parents income what percentage of time they are with each parent daycare expenses and insurance expenses along with the number of children where I live. My husband paid $200 for his daughter and covered her on his insurance. There was no daycare expense and he was only making like $7 hour.

  8. Depends on how many children you have and what your income is. Most states now usually use 20-25% of your income to cover a single child for child support.  However, if you google your state and "child support calculator" you can get a better estimate for your particular state. No matter how many children you have, no more than 1/2 your income is taken for child support.

A lot of the calculations changed in the last 5 years. Later children are no longer treated as second class citizens.

  9. My ex paid $840 per month and 100% of medical. this is for 1 child. My brother pays $1,800 per month for 1 child and 100% of medical.

  10. What state are you living in d**n, if i could get 20-25% of my daughters mothers income, it would be so much better. Here in MN its only 10% which i only get 50 bucks a month if that cuz mostly i get nothing from her so i could say i get nothing for child support
