How much do you have to study to get A's in college?

Each class meets 2 1/2 hours a week. How much should I study per class each week to get A's?

  1. you have to study a considerable amount of time for each class subject.


  2. study until you know what you are doing.  if you dont know the material, then you have more work to do.  there is no standard amount of time that a student studies--except that it will be a lot any way you look at it.   sometimes i end up studying until 11pm, somtimes I'm up until 3am.  I study until I know what Im talking about when it comes to the subject at hand.

  3. It really depends on an individuals learning abilities. When in college, I used to study much harder for certain classes than other.

    I always excelled in Math and History, and basically put in very little study time, but in English Literature, Psychology, and Sociology, things I really wasn't interested in, I usually spent alot of time studying.

  4. Generally you will need at least 30 hours a week to get a good grade, any less , for most, is being a "chancer", you may get lucky, and only do the subject that you are asked about, if you have only done three of four hours, but do not bet on this happening, you are supposed to be learning all of the subject you choose, and if you dont, others will, and they will get the jobs and chances , that you will miss out on....
