How much do you know about South America and what do you know?

Most people think that "Mexicans" are the only group of latin people, but there are more countries in America and not everybody eats tacos or enchiladas

Well I know more than I can type here but not a huge amount really.

I know about the Aztecs, Incas etc and the conquistadors. I learned all that in school.

We dont learn a huge amount about South America in school where I am (Ireland) because we have so much European history to learn.

Although we not thought that Mexico is part of South America at all.

We are taught that North America is everything above Mexico.

Middle America (not to be confused with middle America in the USA) is Mexico and Central America.

Everything under Panama is South America.

We are taught that Latin America is where Spanish or Portuguese is spoken.

So obviously Mexico is but so is Brazil, Argentina, Honduras etc.

Whereas for example, French Guiana is not.

Mostly what I know is the ancient history though, not modern history.

(I actually dont know what an enchilada is)
