I have a nice behringer 30watt modeling amp. However for some reason, unless pressure is being applied to the treble k**b on the front of it, I lose half of my volume and even more of my tone. Anyone know what's wrong?

  1. I had a 'nice' behringer amp as well, so I thought. After owning it for about a year as a practice amp, I GAVE it away to my best friend because it sucked SO bad. It has a noisy hiss when it is on, it had static in the pots shortly after it was new...which usually take years, a k**b broke...out of 12 amps I own, none ever broke a k**b...cheap plastic I assume, and the 100 effects on it were just numbers...so you had to memorize the numbers of good efx that you liked....what a pain. I since bought a stereo 212 Crate amp for practice, and I perform on stage with my Orange half stack, and a VOX multi efx...so good luck with it.....I'll NEVER buy another noisy low quality Behringer!

  2. You need a new Treble pot (switch)
