Do they have an association? Do any of them have offices? Where would they have their practice...with other psychologists? Are psychologists also parapsychologists as part of their training? Do you know how many there are in the USA?

Hopefully this what you are looking for.

  2. They study and communicate the ghosts and everything about them. Whether good or bad

  3. There is a professional association for people engaged in the science of parapsychology. It is the Parapsychological Association (link below). It was voted an affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (link below) in 1969. Full membership requires a doctoral degree. Most full members have degrees in conventional sciences such as physics, psychology, medicine, etc.

The very few people that engage in parapsychology research full time usually work through a university and have offices at the universities. (example links below) They don't usually keep private offices and advertise in the yellow pages.

Many psychologist do work in the field of parapsychology (experimental psychologist are especially well suited for such research) but many other types of social and physical scientist work in parapsychology as well.

I have no idea how many are based in the US. Also it depends on the definition as that properly a "parapsychologist" would only be a person who has a doctorate in parapsychology (I believe there has only been one issued from a US university) but many people study overseas (England in particular has the most programs).

However, parapsychologist is often used to refer to those that study any aspect of parapsychology. Some scientist are fine with this while other scientist like Rupert Sheldrake (a biologist) prefers to be called by the profession he was trained in (biology) even though he studies such subjects as ESP in animals.
