How much money does he have and what are his stated goals? Where was he born and why did his grandfather change his name from Schwartz to Soros? How is he connected and how much power does he have in media and banking? What does this very powerful political influence in this nation want to change? Check on Wiki and learn something important.

  1. First of all, Wikipedia is not necessarily a reputable source, since anyone can write anything they want in it.  Having said that, though, I found this quote from Wikipedia to be very interesting:

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker [hardly a radical] wrote in 2003 in the foreword of Soros' book The Alchemy of Finance:

"George Soros has made his mark as an enormously successful speculator, wise enough to largely withdraw when still way ahead of the game. The bulk of his enormous winnings is now devoted to encouraging transitional and emerging nations to become 'open societies,' open not only in the sense of freedom of commerce but - more important - tolerant of new ideas and different modes of thinking and behavior."

So is encoraging transitional and emerging nations to become open societies a bad thing?

I'm concerned that you have listened to someone on right-wing TV who has set Soros up as a bogey-man.

  2. Real simple,

This Nov. boycott the Donkey and the Elephant

the alternate candidates are the "none of the above" block on the ballot.

    Think about it!

  3. Basically he is a very rich gambler, which is all market speculation amounts to. Whether a very successful gambler is worth listening to or not depends on their actions, not their money. Whether what he promotes among "emerging nations" is openness to individual sovereignty, or openness to being dominated by global financial interests, can be ascertained by another answerer's quote of Paul Volcker's glowing praise — Volcker himself being a representative of the same agenda.

  4. Not enough... not nearly enough,

But enough to know that if Obama gets elected.. george will be pulling his strings.

just what we need.. another puppet president!
