  1. Well I lieve in Australia, so we have medicare and the pharmaceutical benefits scheme. My last pill I was on cost me $4 for 3 months supply. However the new one I am on is not on the benefits list because it is not a basic one, this one is really good and helps with my skin, it cots me $40 for 3 months supply, but recently I found a discount pharmacy which sells the exact same one for only $25 for the 3 months.

  2. Alot of planned parenthoods and Dept of health give out condoms and birth control pills for free. Well at least  in NYC they do. Do some investigation into you states Dept of Health.

  3. I am on OrtHO Tri Cyclen and I pay $6 with insurance and it would be around $30 without.

  4. I have insurance through my parents, but I haven't used it in years to get birth control.  Instead, I go to my county's health department.  There I get everything free: my annual exams and my depo shots!  Some people are skeptical of going to public health departments, but just for family planning reasons, its great.

While I was using my insurance, I still had to pay co-pays and such.  I was on the pill at the time, paying $10 for generic Ortho Tri Cyclin, and the pharmacy would only give me one pack a month!! So it wasn't very convenient for me.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!!
