  1. $3.97 for premium in AL i bet it will get up to about $5.00 then the algae plants will take over and costs will lower considerably.

  2. $3.75/gallon on the obx - hatteras an hour south is at $4.02.

    $4.50 tops, i hope but prolly $5

  3. 3.69 in Texas for unleaded and I know it will be over $4 real soon. It goes up 10 cents every few days.

  4. $4.00 i hope it goes down

  5. I pay between $3.80 and $3.90.

There's no upper limit.  England was paying $4/gallon back in the 1980's.  Now they're paying $9/gallon, and life goes on in England as usual.

If you told somebody in 2003 they'd be paying $4 a gallon today, they would have assumed the world would end or something.  Nope.

  6. i live in ny and pay almost four dollars.  My participation in government teacher said that gas could be expected to raise to five dollars within the next year.

  7. i pay 4.59 a gallon in natucket mass i think it will keep going up as the suply gets lower. its supply and demand basic economics

  8. $4.I imagine it will go up to over $5 soon

  9. $3.85. I think it'll go up to $4.30.

  10. Ug!  $3.99 per gallon this morning and I have a 19 gallon tank plus about 70 miles per day of driving.

I do not look at the total when I fill up though as it bums me out.

  11. It was $3.69 this morning when I came to work, but I think it has went up since then.  I bought a small car this week.  I couldn't stand the gas costs of my suv.  I was putting $60+ in every 4 days.  I loved that suv too.

  12. We are paying $3.95, it is said that we will be at $5.00 by the end of summer and I fully believe that!

What is really sad here, now when you buy a car, the dealerships are trying to rope you in by saying they will give you free gas for a month, or they will get you gas at just $2.99 for a year.  Now that's bad when we think "Man, it sure would be nice to pay $2.99 for a gallon of gas again!"
