How much do you pay in taxes each year?

I was wondering how much everyone here pays in taxes each year.

If you do not know, are you a democrat or a republican?

Please count,

Fica, Federal Income, State and local income and sales taxes, property taxes etc.

My wife and I paid $23,000-$25,000 last year. We live in a 1500 sq ft house and drive modest vehicles, but we do fall into the bottom of the dreaded top 20% in household income.

and I'm not really into politics much. I'm democrat to an extent, but not all the way. If i like a republican who's running better than the democrat, ill probably vote for the republican. I think personality and plans are more important than the label they stick on them.
