  1. It depends on how long they are being watched. my kids are 2 and 3 and I pay 20 dollars for 2 hours not even that long. Their sitter is a high school senior and works part time and she loves them we have known her and her family since she was in elementary school and she asks if she could babysit for us is the reason for the pay. We also buy food and snacks to take to her house.

  2. its better to just have a close friend or family member watch them its much safer and more reliable but nannys prob like 25 an hour price varies please help my friend (she doesnt have an answers account so she used mine-http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... thanx

  3. In California through an agency a nanny can get up to $25 an hour. I charge $10-$12/hr and I'm just a teenage sitter.

  4. I watched a 1 and a half year old and a 5 year old and I got paid $250 a week. I had them for 40 hours. 11 hours a day for 3 days and 7 hours on the 4th day.  Depending on where you live, you might be able to pay more or less.  I live in a really big city and the parents had extremely good jobs.

  5. it all depends on how much time the nanny would be with them...what you want her to do...(cook, clean up, watch kids) also how much she wants...hourly or per a day...also depends on how many days out of the week..but because your kids are young you should pay more because they are alot harder to take care of

  6. I'm a live out nanny in the Chicago area and I get 20 dollars an hour for two kids, but that's after taxes. Hiring a nanny is much more expensive than sending the kids to a sitter or even to a top notch daycare center like Creme de la Creme which is 15,000 a year. I make around 40,000 a year after taxes.

  7. $9 per hour for 1 child who is almost 2 yrs old.

  8. I pay nothing,I mean shes paid by looking at me

  9. 6$ and hour - for a babysitter.

I don't see why a nanny would make any more/less.

  10. Where I live nannies charge 400-500/week live-in or live out. I have seen live-in's as cheap as 200/week if all amenities and a furnished room is provided.
