  1. $700 for 2 people. Royal Caribbean

  2. All depends on where you purchase the cruise.

  3. The prises are fluid and vary over time and from cruise to cruise. So the best way to check out is to browse cruise lines web pages when youre ready to book. Good luck! Johan

  4. i paid 18 hundred dollar for 2 adults and 2 kids for 5 days.

  5. We payed somewhere around $250 per person for a 4 day cruise to Ensenada, Mexico.

  6. There are a lot of variables that determine how much you pay for a cruise.  Those things include:

    - what type cruise line you select, for example, luxury or medium priced,

    -the type cabin you select

    -the date that you select,

-the number of days that you want to cruise

All cruise ship cabins are priced based on double occupancy and you will pay a fare that is based on between $125 and $175 per day per person times the number of days for the cruise.  The price you pay will depend mostly on the type accommodations that you choose. There are 4 basic types of cabins on ships:

    - inside (no window),

    - outside (a window or porthole),

    - balcony/veranda, and

    - suites.

The "FROM" prices you see will always be for an inside cabin. There are also some subcategories within each category with cabins on a higher deck, and/or a better location on ship (like midship), and/or that are slightly larger costing more.  Then,  all of the cruise lines give the best price for early bookings that are a year or more in advance.  Cruise lines also list specials on their web sites that can many times save you a couple hundred per person over the price for the exact same cruise on a different date.

All prices that you see will be for adults and there are no discounts for children.  But, usually the 3rd and 4th persons (children for example) in a cabin generally get a reduced rate that is about half the fare of the first two people.  Cruise lines do give discounts for seniors on some cruises.  Cruises can be as short as a one or two day sailing to nowhere to the 4 and 5 days sails to the Bahamas and Mexico, to the usually 7 day cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, and other places, to the 14 and 15 day cruises such as from the west coast US to Hawaii and back.  Then some cruise lines have World Cruises that last 30, 60, or 90 days or more.

I have listed below the web sites for the medium priced cruise lines which operate from US ports. These are the cruise lines that most people use. There are some luxury lines that are much higher priced with prices starting around $4,000 for a 7 day cruise. The lines that I have listed below will have cruises starting in the range of $800 to $1,000 per person for a 7 day cruise, again depending upon the date and type cabin you select.

  7. We kinda figure that if we get a cruise for less then 100.00 per day were doing good this is for a inside cabin.  Cruise lines are offering deals for 3rd and 4th passengers but don't consider loading up the room unless its kids your bunking with.  The rooms are small so you will like the extra storage and elbow room of splitting up the crowd.   Time of year and week you choose will change the price too.

  8. I just got my invoice from my travel agent for my November '08 cruise, 7 nights, Southern Caribbean

    CRUISE                                    $1299.00

    TAXES AND FEES                    250.35

    FUEL SURCHARGE                   35.00

    AIRFARE                                  372.15

    TOTAL                                   $1956.50

There are some discounts that haven't been applied yet.

It's a little higher than normal, since we are in a suite.   The rate is per person with 2 people in the stateroom.

  9. The usual price is about $200 (£100) a day, whatever the cruise length for a reasonable cabin. Children and seniors get around 10% discount on some lines.

If you have 4 in a cabin the 3rd and 4th persons pay around 60% of the price.
