How much do you pay to upgrade text messages for verizon?

The 5000 is 20 and i think unlimited is actually the same! 5000 might be 15 im not sure but when i called it was 20 and unlimited for the family plan was 30! um just keep asking trust me itll get them to do it i had to do it to last year ha!

You would convince momma and papa if you switch to tmobile.  The service isn't as spectacular than verizon, but it is way cheaper.  I pay 10 bucks for unlimited texts.  I pay 39.99 for 1000 minutes.  When I was on verizon, I got I think I got 200 texts for 4.99 and 400 minutes for 39.99.  I've recently looked and they're way more expensive now!  

Signal on tmobile is okay too.  Only rarely i don't have service, like in basements of bars or like 1 ft of just one corridor in my university.  Am happy with them
