  1. DANG! I used to get paid $3 to watch three kids(twins and their sister).

I couldn't afford any of you.

  2. it all depends on how many kids. I would say about $8.50 an hour per child. maybe thrown in extra if the kids are well behaved and are asleep when you get home.

  3. I CHARGE 5 DOLLARS FOR ONLY ONE KID, 8 FOR 2 and 14 for 3 or more

  4. $5

  5. 10

  6. $7, then again Jason and Chase are little sons of guns, like me.

  7. you need to give more details, it depends where you live & how many children the baby sitter is watching

    one child $ 6.00 -- $8.00

    two children $8.00 -- $10.00

    three -- four children $ 10.00 -- $12.00

  8. I take care of a 3 year old little girl and I make $7.00 an hour. I usually charge $10.00. The reason I am only charging $7.00 is because her mother prepares all of her meals ahead of time and she is fully potty trained. All I have to do is entertain her for 4 hours a day.

  9. $10/hr for two boys, 4 & 2 years old.  Madisonville, LA

  10. $5.00 per hour, plus food and drinks and a bonus if the kids are in bed asleep when we get home, and even more if he/she tidies up.

And the $5 per hour is generally...really depends on the sitter and the time.

  11. $25.  My sitter is a teamster (Sitters local 103) and I have to pay her benefits along with the high salary.

  12. I live babysit in Manhattan and I charge 20$ hour. I babysit usually 1-2 kids. 5 or 7 or 10 come on that's not fair to the person who is babysitting. It a job not a hang out.

  13. It depends how old the babysitter is, how many children there are, and how old the children are. I am a college grad... I babysit for one family. They have a 4 yr old and a 6mo old. I get $10 an hour.

  14. I don't pay by the hour really...I usually pay about $25 per night, more if the sitter is there in the day time when my child is actually awake.

  15. i would base it on their age (sitter) and how many children and thier ages.

  16. It depends on the age and the expectation.

    Early Teens $5 - $6/hr

    College students $7 - $8/hr

Adults $10/ hr with light house work

This is in the southern and midwestern part of the US

  17. I hire teenagers from my church and pay $6/hr for the first child and another 3 per hr each additional child. I have 3 kids but 1 isnt always here and some sitters wont charge to look after her as she is 10. So usually its about $30-40 if I have one come for the evening. I live in central IL and wanted to use a college student but she felt she was entitled to $20/hr which is more than a licensed professional childcare worker is paid.

  18. $10.50 an hour per child
