How much do you pay your babysitter?

I'm 15 and I babysit this one kid once in a while. Mostly weekend evenings from 8.30pm till 1.30am. That's 5 hours and they pay me $30 for the evening.

I usually give a flat rate between 15 and 20 bucks for a nite. If they take my kid out...I might give them an extra 5 or 10 for food. I just have one so its a little easier...more than one I'd consider hourly rates.

it depends how much time and how many kids. But it would be good if it was like $9.00 an hour if they are real good.

I don't pay.  I trade.  I watch my sister in laws kids, she watches my son.  It works out great.

It depends on where you live and how good your baby sitter is.

We usually gave ours like 8 bucks a hour.  What ever she wanted to eat, drink I made sure was in the house.  She was the most wonderful sitter you could ever ask for.  I always made sure she got extra $$$ for things like short notice, holidays or if she took the kids for pizza I make sure I pay for it.
