How much do you serve on second degree murder? ?

He was just the driver, did not know about it. He's done nothing but cooperate & now the DA is only offering 15 to life. How much of that do they actually serve. Should I get a second opinion?

15 to life means eligibible to be considered for parole after 15 years, less good time.  Probably about 10 years to be eligible, but no guarantee that the parole board will actually grant parole.
