it has 158000miles on it, i would list it in poor condition according to the kelly blue book standards because of some bumper damage and minor damages..it also has a hole in the muffler so it makes a lot of noise...but other than that I was thinking 1500. Any ideas?

  1. I recently sold my car to carcash.com. I did an INSTANT QUOTE on their website. Took me less than  a minute. Honestly...visit their website and fill out the form. They will tell you the cash value of it. KBB doesn't buy cars so you really can't use that guide. Car Cash really came through for me...considering what I had just been through with another company that buys cars. The quote will tell you what a vehicle in CLEAN condition will be worth. Obviously, you can call in to get a more exact number...

  2. you could probably do little bit better.

My 94 Civic (187K miles) in poor condition is rated at  KBB.com for about $2,100 to $2,200.  I think the older Civic are lighter than current model so they get great MPG - making them desirable in the used car market.

Got to KBB.com and check again.

    Good Luck...

  3. Your car has a low retail of 4575.00 but as you said its far from perfect. It needs some mechanical and body work so i would say a good price would be more like 2500.00 - 3000.00 because your only going to get so much out of a 9 year old car that needs work. For this price you should have no problem getting rid of it.But as the other answer said if you get a few minor things fixed and get it cleaned up you can get a little more out of it.More towards the 3 thousand mark.Good luck.
