Don't give me that "attending to a hurricane" garbage. He's the President. If he can't make it tonight, you put him on the ticket tomorrow night or Thursday. They didn't want him there because his administration is such a failure and a political liability.

There is no love lost between McCain and Bush. The two haven't talked since May. However Bush knows for his legacy that McCain must win. He will do what is needed, which is stay away.
