How much do you think a tattoo like this would cost?

Well me and my mother plan to get matching tattoos whenever i get the money to pay for them and well we don't agree on the same things most of the time but what we do agree on is that we love the way Gothic crosses look..And so i decided that i wanted mine on the back of my neck pretty much covering it and also we want it to be really detailed..i don't want any colors besides black(don't know if colors cost more).. So i probably didn't give that much info cause we don't know exactly what we want it to look like..Can someone please just give me an estimate on mine:) Oh and another thing, just curious..Does it cost money to have the Tattoo Artist draw a original sketch from something you bring in? Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it:)

I'm guessing around $100. No, it shouldn't cost anything for a sketch. But allow the artist a few days to get back to you, as they are really busy.

Does this sound like a stupid question with not enough information for a proper answer? Well so is yours - you don't even tell us which country you're in, so how can you possibly get even a reasonable quote? Everybody on here will be taking a complete guess and then you'll be none-the-wiser. Go talk to a tattoo artist - he will be the only one who will be able to give you an accurate quote.

you're looking at around $225-$300, of course depending on the artist and location that you go to.  If you bring in a picture it should be included in the price to have them draw it up.  You can also just go in and chat with the people in the parlor, most of them are very willing to help/answer any questions that you might have.

The cross itself i would say anywhere between $100-$150.  Yes, it does cost more if you bring in your own stuff.  It doesn't cost too much more... but it does cost a little more.

it really depends on where you go. it could depend on the size or the time it takes to finish. some places have like a $50 minimum for any size, no matter how small. It sounds since its a neck tattoo, like around $60-75? I would really have to look like it.
