  1. Depending on where you get the food, but I'd say about $1 - 1.50 each a week x 4 weeks x 12 months

  2. Full-sized adult cornsnakes will eat 1-2 adult mice every week to 10 days.  Contact one of your local petstores that sells frozen mice and find out how much they are.

Another alternative is to see if there is a company near you that breeds feeder mice. You could either order in bulk or go to their location and buy in bulk.  Ordering for shipment -may- be a little pricey for only two snakes, but if you order enough mice to make it worth doing, you may find it's cheaper in the long-run.

There is at least one seller in Texas. Florida has several  mice breeders. There's one in Louisiana, I think.  Google "feeder mice" and you should be able to see if there are any near you.

If you choose to buy in bulk, frozen mice can be kept for about a year and still be good for feeding. I have used some of my stock after a little more than a year. Other than a touch of freezer burn, the snakes still ate them okay.

    Good luck.

  3. Hmmmm, I have a baby ball python, just bought her a month ago. So far I have spent 10 dollars on her food, 7 for new bedding in her cage, and that's pretty much it. Well, plus the jump in the cost of my electricity bill from running her heat lamp and heat pad under her cage.

I spent a total of 600 dollars on her and all of the equipment she will need in order to live a comfortable and healthy life.
