Question:

How much do you think ill bench when im older

i know its not possible to tell but i just want to know what you think. I'm 16 i bench 140. My goal is to get into a power lifting competition. I'm starting to think that's impossible and i should just give up.

  1. Bench??  ?? Wait..Is this your Weight? if it is you can see the doctor and they can measure you and maybe weigh you!

All you have to do is get in there and do it.  The key is to start off with light weight and get the correct form.  For powerlifting the foundation exercises are bench press, deadlifts and squats.  These three exercises are all you really need to gain complete muscle mass as well.  Never give up on your dreams either.  What if George Washington Carver gave up on his research of peanuts the first hundred times he failed ?

  3. genetics don't mean anything. work hard and you will get big. i bench 230 three years ago i could only bench 70

  4. Oh Heck no...  You can reach your goal if you want...  But you have to really want it...  I know this Kid that was really skinny and he wanted to be a lot bigger and he just worked his butt off and he is huge...  You have to want it and just go for it...  You have to want it in your heart...
