How much do you think it would cost too....

Question

Have my car painted. I don't know too much about cars and stuff but I would like to know or have some idea of what the cost would be to have it painted victory red or candy apple red my car now is a dark purple.

a premium complete paint job (meaning including jambs and interior colors)is about 40 hours work for 2 guys at the least ..materials gonna coast you from 800 dollars and up dpending on brand ..so ..if i say 5000 dollars that will be cheap ..now if your looking for a cheap paint job go to a 1 day paint places like maako or earl schive

that's like asking how much does a nice coat cost?

if you life in Colorado you might want a down jacket for skiing.

If your wealthy you might want a full length mink coat.

painting isn't hard to do but doing it right takes time and skill.

you can get a MAACO paint job for $700 but it won't include any clear coat or any body work.

if you spend a $1,000 to $1,200 you'll get a good job and maybe some minor imperfections smoothed out.

if you want it to be Concours d'Elegance you can spend as much as  $10,000.

it all depends on how much time and effort they put into it.

It depends on what quality paint job you require. Candy apple can run as high as 2500.00 for a good paint job on a normal size car.

your going tobelooking at alot close to 3000 cause candy apple red is going to have to be special ordered and mixed and like all places they will charge you extre for all that... and most places wont do that color only higher price places will so yeah i say go for a darker red cause it will run you less

300$$ (back in 2006)for the cheap stuff im not sure if that includes the labor(sanding off the old paint) the more popular the paint color the more expensive.
