the bonuses that UFC offers tho is where major money can be won for the fighters

UFC 84 DISCLOSED FIGHTER PAYROLL: $1,098,000

    Thats was the last card

  3. Tito made $210,000 for his UFC 84 fight

Anderson Silva made $140,000 for his UFC 82 fight

This is only base pay, some elite fighters (like these 2) make money on the pay-per-view most of the time. Fight bonuses (KO of the night, submission of the night, and fight of the night earns you $75,000 on top of your base salary). Some good fighters get paid next to nothing and deserve way more in my opinion. Kieth Jardine made only $10,000!! What a joke, he would have been considered a top contender if he had won.

  4. They sign contracts. Normally the big fighters will sign a 6 year contract worth around 2 million.(thats what cro cop signed for) They can also get a bonus for fight of the night, best knockout..etc.

The elite fighters can also get split revenue from how many payper view buys they get. You also get paid alot of money through sponsorship.

Chuck LIddell stated in many interviews that he gets 2-3 million dollars per fight with everything included.  He can make anywhere from 6 million to 12 million per year. Not so bad huh?

But yes, some of the not so popular fighters do not get paid the greatest by the ufc but that is where sponsors come in.

Just like with extreme sport athletes most of their money comes from sponsors not from winning actually events.

  5. probly a couple million

  6. The pay is the greatest @ times, understood as in jardines case but you have to understand that is what they agreed on from start. UFC thought he was worth that much $$$ from start but by mid point of his contract his skills and talents increase reflecting he should get more $$$ that doesnt happen mid point of no contract unless you sit down with the boss man and Negoate. by his new contract he should be getting more $$$ if not then i would be beefing

"i beat the former Light heavy weight champion, i want more $$$"
