  1. What it would be worth? The usual price.

What I think it's for. .could throw out some things, but basicly I haven't the slightest idea, that is why I say the usual price, it's not something somebody who could come up with something else. Maybe you could get like a buck more then the usual though.

  2. Sounds like a cheap knockoff of nextag.com. If you think it's worth something, set up a site there with some ads on it. Maybe you'll make some money, or maybe somebody will make an offer on it.

  3. Okay, here's the plus side:

It's brandable (can be made to be associated with a company by proper marketing), easy to remember and spell, it's in the com TLD. It has no hyphens or digits. The words are spelled correctly, and they're both common English words. It's aimed at a common Internet site type - a shopping/comparison site. It is clean, and has two words that fit neatly together (unlike, for example, 'spaceenergy'). It has no plurals or other unusual forms (unlike, for example 'developerslink').

    Here's the minus side:

It's somewhat narrowly focused. It's a bit long. It has a whimsical feel, rather than a more serious one.

Now, for recent sales of comparable domains (and by comparable, I mean sharing the pros and cons I listed above):

    clearcorp.com $3000

    americanmall.com $2600

    artrental.com $2500

    streamingmovies.com $3255

    openjournal.com $1500

    wellfood.com $4000

    spaceenergy.com $2240

    developerslink.com $1580

    bizfax.com $4488

    popgirl.com $3800

    pricevision.com $2300

    artprices.com $2400

If it were one of my domains, I'd price it at $2,500.

For what it's worth, estibot says $90 while swift says $3200-$4800. I think it's largely because estibot doesn't consider how well the words go together.

  4. I would give you $10 for it unless it has a page rank and traffic going to it

    Hope tis helps

  5. It's worth as much as any other domain. When I see it, I'm not sure what I think, but it reminds me of pricegrabber.com. But before eBay, if you asked me what I thought eBay.com might be for, I wouldn't have been able to guess. (Same with Yahoo, or Google, or many other popular sites)
