  1. 20%

  2. You should ALWAYS tip 15% no matter what. 20% for good service. 25% for AWESOME service. at least about 40% if you wanna date the person. lol

  3. depends on the service and the food 1-5 dolllars is good enough

  4. Your tip is going to the waitperson for their attitude, service and attentiveness. It has nothing to do with the ambiance, the food or the music being piped in. You usually tip 15 - 20 % of the total bill BEFORE any discounts have been deducted. You can add to or subtract from that due to wait performance. Keep in mind , most tipped employees get paid 2-3 dollars per hour plus tips.

  5. cost of living in SANTA FE N.M. is high. usually, I tip 18% 20% if they were great and 15% if they sucked  ambiance has no affect on me, unless I'm on a date!

  6. I tip 25% for great service. I have been known to tip 50% for exceptional service. Ambiance doesn't really affect my tipping, it's the waitperson's attitude.

  7. My mom always said to double the tax they charge you, then round it up to the nearest dollar. I dont think that always works out though-comes out under. Just do the math and give 20%. That seems to be standard.

Its all about the service, you could be in a dive and tip well for attentive, pleasant service. Its not up to the waistaff how the interior is designed or weather or not they have tablecloths and candles.

  8. 15 - 20%

  9. I tip depending on how nice my waitress is, and how fast I get service and refills etc. She didnt decorate the place :p so I dont judge that. I will give 10% to 50%.

  10. 20 percent.

  11. From what I understand, it depends upon the cost of living per city. So, in Chicago, it would be more than in my home city of Des Moines, IA.

In Chicago, I tip 25% if the service is good. In Des Moines, I tip 20%.

The ambiance has little to do with my tipping. It's all about the server.

  12. My tip does not go up with regard to the ambiance.

I tip about 20% all the time.

  13. You should tip at least 17%, because most servers now have to tip out the busser the bartender and the hostess. So if you tip 15% the server will only be getting 13%. I work at Chilis and we only have to tip out the busser and the bartender, but we tip the expo as a way of thanking them for working so hard. Some days I can tip 20 dollars or more on a busy shift. Also if you do not tip anything the server is short 2-3% cause of the tip out.

  14. Generally it is 15-20% but I tip strictly on the type of attention my table gets. I also do the same... tip better if the scenery is nice. lol. Especially with pizza delivery. You hot? You gonna get a good tip! lol.

  15. the service is the most Important wen it comes to a tip wen I go to a restaurant and I get good service I will tip well and wen I get a bad service I will not live a tip
