Having been a sleep away counselor at a few different camps, the standard answer is zero. It's almost always written into the staff rules not to accept cash tips. Have your parents call the camp and ask, or just bring them goodies. At one of the camps, the rule was no accepting cash, but instead we got lots of snacks, t-shirts, shorts, bags, shampoo and lotion stuff, all kinds of neat stuff that wasn't cash.

Often if cash is given, it's expected to be turned into camp admin. and used towards and end of season staff bash or something. If you want it to go directly towards your counselors, either check first, or don't bring cash.
