  1. u don stand to lose a lot by giving $2 but then eventually if u like the haircut there is no harm in doing it

  2. Usually you tip 15%.

    For a $13 hair cut $2 would be a fair amount because 15% of $13 is $1.95.

    Hope I helped!

  3. You should tip.  $2 on $13 is fine.  Not great.  Not bad.

Unless the cut sucks, then nothin.  And don't go back.

  4. It's polite to tip. You might think hairdressers get enough money anyway but someone new in the business could have cut your hair, and beginners actually don't make much. Please tip beginners at least, especially if you think they did a good shampoo job. :)

  5. It's very nice that are considerate enough to think of tipping.  $2.00 is good on a £13.00 haircut.

  6. I think some people forget what a tip is actually. We are not obligated in any way to tip. A tip is given to show gratitude ...not to help the employer with paying their employee less.

If they do a good job and you really like what they have done, you can most certainly leave a tip, but you do not have to.

    On a $15.00 haircut (good) I leave her $2.00

A good example is companies that pay $3.00 an hour and then say plus tips. They automaticly count in tips and count on them to actually bring their employees wage to at least minimum wage.
