How much do you usually ask for off of a used car?

not all car dealers are bad,,,,I just got started and I'd like to think I do things the way it should be,,,,,

-to answer your question if the car was purchased at a dealer auction the rule of thumb is the trade in value- right now small cars are a little bit over trade in value and suv's of course are selling way low,,,,what kind of car are you looking for and I can tell what they have been selling at the auctions-

-most dealers like to make 1500 on a sale but these days 350-500 is fair- let me know if I can help---

i suggest you really do sum research cause the used car business is nasty and u will get ripped off

I don't understand your question.  Are you trying to get a discount on a used car, or are you trying to price your car?
