How much does Andy Roddick suck? All serve and no game?

Even Goran Ivanisevic, the other great nothing but serve player had more desire to win for his country. What do you think of Roddick's lack of game?

I support Roddick, but I absolutely agree that he doesn't prform on the day, and his serves are great, but his game isn't as good, and he is a bit lazy.

He is a very good player, but he doesn't rise to the occasion.

I don't think he sucks, but he can win tournamants: He won the Dubai masters after beating Federer.

His lack of game is a big problem.

About four or five years ago he was very formidable. But now he seems to be losing his form a bit. He certainly needs to get his overall game much better.

He sucks badly. He could be better but hes too lazy to improve the rest of his game.....

his attitude in a game. you can see his attitude in 3rd round and 5th set of 2008 AO he was very frustrated and also in my opinion his weakness

Haven't seen him play lately, but I read an article about how he is doing mind-strength training.  Didn't the US win the most recent Davis cup?

Roddick has an amazing game. He just lacks the mental strength to execute it.

So from what I've seen talent isn't his biggest issue.

Roddick is beaten by himself more than the opponent most of the time.. he has the attributes to be better than he is, yet he lets himself and his fans down at times like these..

i hope he picks himself up and utilize his potential talents to be a great player

Well he is number 6 in the world and that itself is an amazing achievement, and hes a grand slam champion. You dont achieve such things by only having a serve, i personally think that aspects of his game are underated, specially the angle he can generate with his forehand
