How much does CalCobra cost if right now my premium is $172 a month?

I was just laid off from my job =(

and my boss said i need to go on Cal Cobra. I now will probably have to. The only bad thing is that I just found out I was HIV+ and will not be earning money is there any other option>>?? please help

You HIV status may mean you qualify for medicaid or Social Security. Check with your local social services department.

It's 103% of the total premium.  If your TOTAL is $172, you're looking at less than $200 a month.  But likely, your boss picked up part of that premium - so you have to add how much your boss was picking up to the check, also.
