  1. The following is from Common Questions on the adsense site:

<<You'll receive a portion of the amount paid for either activity on your website. Although we don't disclose the exact revenue share, our goal is to enable publishers to make as much or more than they could with other advertising networks.

The best way to find out how much you'll earn is to sign up and start showing ads on your web pages>>

Now, is there any type standard or rule of thumb on how much you can get? For instance, I know of some advertisers that told me that if the click for a certain keyword was .5 cents they typically got .3 cents or 30%; is this standard? Does google discriminate based on the price of the words? For instance, if a keyword is going for $50 dollars would I get $15 if one of my visitors clicked on the ad? (No one worry, I don't have anything close to that!)

  2. It depends really. From what I remember it changes all the time and you only get paid after so many clicks. It's not like every click is 5 cents or something. Usually you have to get like 20 unique hits to see anything come up. Just don't violate their terms and click the ads yourself to rack up the hits or else they will take away your account.
