  1. 5,000

  2. My sister spent $3500 for both eyes ($1750 per eye). She claims it was the best $3500 she ever spent!

It must work quite well as I've had a few relatives who have had said surgery.

I have opted against it as I hunt quite a bit and the scope on the rifle does the same thing Lasik does.

I have two pair of glasses (one clear the others tinted) and I see fine with those.

Contacts always fell out of my eyes.

  3. It actually does work and very well too if done by the right Doctor.

A friend of mine had the operation and she has been able to go without glasses or contacts for the first time in over 10 years.

Make sure the Doctor is reputable and has had lots of experience.

    You can't go wrong :)

  4. "The cost for LASIK (on both eyes) varies from $4,200 to $5,300, depending on your type/degree of refractive error and whether you want classic vs. Custom vs. Wavefront-optimized LASIK and whether you choose the Intralase flapmaker. Most patients choose Custom LASIK with the Intralase flapmaker, which for most prescriptions costs $4,900 to treat both eyes.."

  5. It works.

It depends on both the doctor and the extent of surgery needed.

I've seen it cost as little as 1,500 and as much as 10,000.

Usually though, about 3 or 4 thousand dollars.

    And again, it works.
