How much does Microsoft's XBox 360 warranty cost?

I've been waiting to get one for a while, and I heard Microsoft's warranty is $35. Is that true?

If you buy the warranty from BestBuy or FutureShop which are common places to buy the console the waranty will be 80 dollars for 3 years, although its kool to get their warranty most of the time on some products I honestly wouldn't recommend it on the Xbox 360.

Why? It's simple... the Xbox 360 comes with 1 year standard warranty for anything that happens with he xbox, and 3 year warranty for the Red Ring of Death, which is basically a major issue for most xboxes, however if your ever going to get the RRoD it will happen within the first month of you buying it so you can do what I did and simply return it for an exchange... after that initial month your golden set for the next 2 may be 3 years... in which case the Xbox 360 Will cost no more then like 199, may be less.

my 360 came with 5 years of warrant so i dont know what your talking about :l

No, the warranty is free.

It covers the 360 against the RROD for 3 years, or other defects for 90 days.  If it fails under warranty, the repair is free.
