How much does Osi Umenyiora's absense hurt the Giants defense this upcoming season???

It will do alittle damage because Osi was going to be the one getting all the double teams leaving Tuck open for some good lokos at the QB. However Kiwanuka will most likely be dropped back down to DE. A natural DE and an All American in College, he was the original Strahan replacement. Since he was switched to LB he has gotten faster as well. He may be able to come back into the DE role as more of a Speed/Finesse DE that Osi was so good at being.

it hurts, for sure but, Mathias Kiwanuka, was drafted as a DEFENSIVE END and, was only moved to LINEBACKER, last season. He wasn't bad, either but, as You know, that was the year that the GIANTS, lost all of their LB'S. I would expect that, they would move Kiwanuka, back ovr and, bring up one of the young LB'S, to fill His spot.

i think they'll be in some major trouble now. i really don't think strahan's gonna come back just for the simple fact that he's not really in football shape right now. you have to do a lot of offseason conditioning to keep up with the rest of the nfl, and he hasn't been 'favre-ing' at home.

A little bit. Their pash rush is still good anyway so i think they'll cope.

they may re-sign strahan, well at least that is the news going around he said he may come back if they pay him around 8 mil or so i hope they do so tuck can move to right end and they have strahan.
