One problem is there's no such product as Vegas Movie Maker - there's Vegas Pro at $600, Vegas Movie Studio Platinum at $130 and Vegas Movie Studio at $90.  Just to confuse things, you can often get heavily discounted prices, usually just before Sony release a new version.  This is a good way to buy, because Sony will still honour their upgrade pricing even though you haven't ever paid the full price!


  2. In the US pro cost about $549.95... but you're hearing other prices because I sure you can find it cheaper if you research it online.
